USF: Scenario - DBZ Part 1

(Sonic and Son Goku! Secret of the Dragon Balls!) BGM: Cha-La Head Cha-La

<Narrator> “In another universe…on the planet Earth, there lived a warrior known only as Goku. Through his trials he became one of the strongest warriors on the planet, but he was not originally born of Earth. He is in reality of one the last surviving Saiyajin originating from the Planet Vegeta, eventually achieving a level those of that race only dreamed of reaching….a Super Saiyajin. However, fate would soon bring him to a world so much like his own, yet so very different. It all began when Goku was training his limits in the Instant Transmission technique, which was capable of bringing him to other planets and even other planes of existence. His latest venture would bring him into a place most unexpected.”

"My Name is Goku and I’m From Earth!”

Panel 1: *Goku would appear somewhere in what looks like a small oriental village, coming to a landing on the ground with two finger to his forehead “Tup.”*
Panel 2: *He is then shown looking around as Sally zooms in on a hover-bike from behind* Goku-“Whew. Had to exert a lot of energy, but I seem to have arrived okay. I wonder where this is.” Sally- “Hey! Move out of the way!”
Panel 3: *“CRASH!*
Panel 4: *The next panel shows Goku having caught Sally, but the bike is in pieces and a Swatbot patrol is approaching* Goku- “Wow. Way back something like that would have knocked me over around when I first met Bulma. Are you okay?” Sally- “Well…yeah, but we’re about to be in big trouble.”
Panel 5: *The Swatbots stand ready and point towards Goku. Goku would set Sally down as he glances over to them. “DON!”* Swatbot- “Surrender yourselves or face immediate destruction.” Goku- “So these androids are giving you trouble, huh? Okay then. This shouldn’t be a problem.”

“Another Son Goku?”

Panel 1: *Sally looks up amazed at Goku and he has his hand behind his head with a jovial grin. While this is happening a silhouetted figure is approaching while riding on a cloud* Sally- “That…that was amazing! I mean I know a few strong friends, but that was just…” Goku- “Oh that wasn’t really much of anything. To be honest that wasn’t even my full…”
Panel 2: *Sally and Goku are both looking up towards someone shouting in their general direction* Khan- “You there! Step away from the princess or you may regret the day you faced the great Monkey Khan!” Sally- “Ken!? Wait just a moment!” Goku- “Whoa! Who’s this?! He’s got a strong power level compared to those last few!”
Panel 3: *Monkey Khan stands there with his Atom Bat in a pose similar to Goku at the end of the first DBZ anime opening while Sally and Goku look to him “DON!”* Khan- “If you’ve harmed a hair on her head then you’ll receive no mercy from me!” Goku- “Heh. Wow. Seeing you there really takes me back.” Sally- “Hold on a minute. There’s still a chance the two of you can talk this out.” Goku- “Yeah. There probably is, but I can’t really pass up an opportunity like this. Let’s go!”

"An Unexpected Strength”

Panel 1: *Khan lies defeated on the ground while Goku extends a hand to help him up* Goku- “Hey, you okay there? That was a good fight just now.” Khan- “You’re stronger than most Overlanders. There’s something different about you.”
Panel 2: *The two then look up along with Sally as they hear other voices calling down to them* Lynx- “Indeed he is. We wouldn’t mind having someone like that on our side.” Frog- “Hee-hee.~ So strong!” Khan- “Hm?! Show yourselves!”
Panel 3: *The Destructix, namely the original Fearsome Foursome, are seen standing together on a rooftop* Simian- “Heh-heh. That guy might be just what we need to hit the Raiju where it hurts.” Goku- “These guys supposed to be friends of yours?” Khan- “I can assure you they are no allies of mine!” Hawk- “You may just see things differently in just a moment.”

"An Enemy in Common”

Panel 1: *The Foursome lay beaten and bruised. Simian in particular is missing a tooth and holding a hand up in surrender. Goku, Khan, and Sally look to them with unsure expressions* Simian- “W-w-wait just a minute! We didn’t mean anything! We just wanted your help in fighting off the Iron Dominion while we take on Lynx’s old clan!” Goku- “So let me get this straight. These four are bad guys, but the ones they want to fight are even worse, right?” Sally- “Well to be honest, I was just on a reconnaissance mission.” Khan- “The way I see it now is the best tie to strike the iron while it’s hot…in this case, the very Dominion itself!”
Panel 2: *In front of Mount Stormtop, Goku stands with Khan and the Foursome near the Iron King’s Armory* Goku- “Is this the place? So, this Iron King…he’s pretty tough, right?” Khan- “Indeed. But it the tricks of the Iron Queen you need to watch out for.”
Panel 3: *A shot of the Iron Queen on a platform is shown as she signals with one hand* Regina- “Mree-heeheehee.~ You’ve suddenly become so bold! You haven’t even noticed you’re right where I want you now!”
Panels 4 and 5: *A Raiju ninja is shown racing by and snatching the Power Ring crown on Monkey Khan’s head. “Shmm!~” Khan is then shown in pain as the Iron Queen’s influence comes over him. “Gogogogogogo.~”*
Panel 6: *Khan is seen fully transformed into Iron Khan in a pose similar to Majin Vegeta as Goku and the Destructix stand shocked* Hawk- “Damn it! She’s got a hold of him now!” Goku- “Whoa, hey! What’s come over you!” Khan- “Enemies of the Dominion…meet your end!”

"The Ox King"

Panel 1: *Goku’s wiping sweat from his brow as Sally brings a Power Ring over to a currently knocked out Khan. In the background, Frog is seen comically biting on the head of a Raiju ninja* Goku- “That was a lot tougher than last time. Now where’s this Iron King I keep hearing about?”
Panels 2, 4, and 5: *”BWOK!” Out of nowhere a large figure would punch Goku and send him crashing right through the side of Mount Stormtop. “Crash!” He would get up in the middle of a lava filled cavern. “So…you must be him then.”
Panel 6: *Goku would stand there ready as the Iron King climbs in through an opening* Jun Kun- “You are correct, fool! I am Jun Kun the Iron King and I will soon leave your shattered body within this fiery grave!”
Panel 7: *Goku seems unintimidated and actually looks casually surprised, while an irritated Iron King points his Tremor Mace forward “Swah!”* Goku- “Wow! This is getting more familiar by the minute! He looks almost like ChiChi’s dad back when he was young.” Jun Kun- “Quit your blathering nonsense and fight!”

"The Supersonic Warrior”

Panel 1 and 2: *”Burst!” Goku is seen flying out of the erupting volcano as it erupts and he lands next to where Sally and Khan were. Li Moon and her father can also be seen on the sidelines.”Stup.”*
Panel 3: *Goku is then seen talking to Sally while Khan looks to Mount Stormtop* Sally- “It’s a fair bet to say that he survived that one. He’s got a habit of bouncing back from just about anything…save for Amy’s hammer.” Goku- “Glad I was able to help out, but is there any chance you can tell me what planet this is or how I can get home?”
Panel 4: Caption- “Later…” *Goku would be seen meeting the Freedom Fighters just outside Freedom HQ, while Tails and Rotor sit to the side looking over a holographic display of the Sky Patrol* Goku- “So this is basically some other planet called Mobius and might not even be my dimension. In that case it’s going to be pretty tough getting back.”
Panel 5 *Sonic and Goku look to each other with a competitive expression in their eyes* Sonic- “Hear you gave the Iron King a run for his money. Mind if I see some of what you can do in action?” Goku- “Don’t mind if I do. I hear your all around fast, so I wouldn’t mind a little race. Catch me if you can!” Sonic- “Hey! That’s my line!”

"I’ll be your Opponent!"

Panel 1: *Sally, Tails, and all the rest would look amazed as Sonic and Goku hunched over, looking out of breath* Sonic- “You’re really something alright. I hadn’t pushed myself like that in a long time.” Goku- “No kidding. You’re not as strong as me, but I’ve never gotten close to being that fast.”
Panel 2: *”Thwogg!” Out of nowhere, Sonic would be knocked aside by a familiar wrecking ball*
Panel 3: *Goku and the others look in surprise as Sonic grounded and Eggman arrives in the Egg Beater* Eggman- “Ohohohohoho!~ Catch you at a bad time, Sonic? Well I could always allow for you to take a break. However, this is a new and improved version meant to exploit your every weakness and it would defeat the purpose if I didn’t beat you while you were down!”
Panel 4: *”Fash!” Goku catches the wrecking ball with one hand as its swung, gritting his teeth and glaring towards Eggman* Goku- “He’s in no condition to fight you, so how about you try me instead? That robot may have some strengths against Sonic, but I doubt it has anything on me.”

"The Androids Awake"

Panel 1: *Eggman is sitting in the remains of the Egg Beater while Sonic and Goku look at him with cocky expressions* Eggman- “Why you…Ergh! How dare you?! This machine was only meant for one spikey-haired eyesore and it certain wasn’t you!” Goku- “So I take it this is who you fight on a regular basis?” Sonic- “Pretty much, but he should be a cakewalk with you here.”
Panel 2: *Eggman pulls out a remote and presses a button “Click”* Eggman- “Wait just a moment. Don’t get cocky just yet! I still have my trumps!”
Panel 3: *Two figures fly down from the sky, moving in blurs ”Shmm!”*
Panel 4: *Both figures feat are shown as they come to a landing “Stup!”*
Panel 5: *Both are revealed as Metal Sonic and Metal Knuckles “Don!”. Eggman rises up in his pod while Goku looks surprised* Goku- “I can’t feel any energy from those two! Are these more robots?” Eggman- “Indeed! Some of my best! I’ll leave the both of you to play with them for now.”
Panel 6: *A close up is shown of Eggman’s partially shadowed face smirking as he thinks to himself* Eggman- “I can salvage something from this yet. I don’t know who you are, but I’ll make good use of what data these two get from you.”

"Let the Training Begin!”

Panel 1: *Goku and Sonic do a quick handshake with excited expressions “Clasp!”* Goku- “Alright! That was pretty exciting!” Sonic- “Well then, I think the two of us are going to get along just fine!”
Panel 2: *A wide shot is shown of Freedom HQ* Narrator- “Some time would pass since the two met. Goku would be forced to wait as the Freedom Fighters attempted to find a way to help Goku return to his home dimension. Most assumed it was due to Goku’s presence, but after he arrived attacks from Eggman stopped entirely. Goku was becoming more anxious and needed an outlet for his fighting spirit.”
Panel 3: *Goku would look excited inside Freedom HQ as he talked with Sonic. Rotor typing commands on a computer* Goku- “A tournament with the planet’s best fighters?! That’s definitely what I need! It’ll save me the trouble of having to find some good fights on my own.” Sonic- “We got some time since then, so I figured we could use Nicole’s program to help you train.” Rotor- “Okay. Just give me a sec and she should be ready.”
Panel 4: *Goku looks amazed and Sonic smiles as they both look to Nicole as a flashing image in front of some kind of teleportation pad with a Star Post like design on it. “Ka~.”* Nicole- “Everything’s ready now. I prepared a training area just as you requested. Goku- “Well I didn’t expect anything like this. It’ll be a new experience when it comes to training.” Sonic- “Same here since I’ll be doing this with a fairly tough guy like you.”

"Strongest Under the Heavens”

Panel 1: *Various familiar Sonic characters are shown gathering over in Station Square at a vaguely familiar arena. Some of them include Honey the Cat along with Mobian variants of Fighting Vipers characters, Kwai Chang Crane, Shuifon and various other Chun-Nan residents, Hawk from Sonic X, Liu Fang and Liu Chi Mei, and various others.* Narrator- “The preliminaries have begun! All of the world’s greatest martial artists would arrive, but only few would be accepted.”
Panel 2: *Inside a very familiar sunglasses wearing referee was announcing the rules, but unlike the usual he seemed to be a Mobian dog* Announcer- “Alright! I hope you’re all ready! Let me explain the rules real quick. A fight’s over once the opponent is knocked out, gives up, or touches ground outside the arena. Once a fighter is disqualified the next one will quickly step into the ring. Hope everyone is set, because we’ll be beginning shortly!”
Panel 3: *Sonic and Goku look to each other before they retreat to their respective arenas* Sonic- “Good luck out there! I hear the guy’s in your bracket are especially tough. Goku- “Shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Hope to see you in the main tournament soon.”

"Enter the Guardian"

Panel 1: *Goku and Sonic would each look at the chart for the tournament bracket. It’s slightly obscured, but names such as Silver, Jet, Espio, Bunnie, Morph and Tiara can be seen amongst others.* Goku- “Looks like we both made it. Any idea who all we’re facing yet?” Sonic- “I know half these guys, so its going to be interesting to say the least.”
Panel 2: *A close-up shot is shown of Goku’s bracket being with Knuckles.* Sonic- “Whoa-ho! Now this is going to be interesting! Goku- “Why’s that? Is he a pretty good fighter?”
Panel 3: *Knuckles stood at the center of the arena as Goku looked towards him* Knuckles- “So you must be the one who gave both Eggman and the Iron King a run for their money.” Goku- “Hey…he somewhat looks a little like one of those robots from earlier. I got a feeling this is one of Sonic’s stronger friends.” –Knuckles “Focus on the fight right now. I was to see just how strong you are and make the most of this.”
Panel 4: *There is then a panel  of Goku standing off against Knuckles in a panel mirroring when Goku first faced off with Piccolo Junior at the end of Dragon Ball* Goku- “Okay then! Well I’m definitely ready to fight!” Announcer- “Let the first round of the tournament commence!”

"Shadow’s Pride"

Panel 1: *Knuckles is shown with a claw punched into the side of the arena to stop himself, but it doesn’t change the fact that his foot’s outside the arena. Goku walks towards him, seeming sporting enough to offer a helping hand* Knuckles- “Darn…that had to be the toughest fight I’ve had in a while.” Goku –“You did pretty good out there yourself. Your power signature’s a bit different than someone’s usual ki. Almost chaotic I would say.”
Panel 2: *”Pipipipipi~” Unknown to them a hovering Butterdroid with a camera attached would fly above the arena transferring tournament footage back to Eggman*
Panel 3: *”DON!”Eggman would leer as Orbot and Cubot watched the footage along with him* Eggman would leer as he watched over the footage of Goku* Eggman- “So he’s got no earthy clue about Chaos Force or anything along those lines. Perhaps there’s a way I can use this to my advantage.”
Panel 4: *Goku and Shadow look to each other from different sides of the arena* Announcer- “We’re back! Joining us now are Gokua and Shadow for the first round of the semi-finals.” Goku- “Um, it’s Goku actually.” Shadow- “I’ve seen how strong so far and I must admit you’ve perked my curiosity. I’ll just let you know that you have no chance against the Ultimate Lifeform of this world.”
Panel 5 and 6: *Goku and Shadow assume stances similar to that just before Goku’s first fight with Vegeta. “Su.” “Za.”*Goku- “Ultimate, huh? Well you gotta be careful about that. Just about anyone can surpass an elite if they try.” Shadow- “I’ve had enough of your jokes. Let me show you power that no amount of “hard work” could ever come close to!”

"News of the Emerl Game"

Panel 1: *Both Goku and Shadow are seen panting and in the middle of an arena full of scorch marks and smoking craters that obviously seem to be the work of Chaos Spheres and Kamehamehas “Shuu.”. Over on the side, the referee is cowering to the side and trying to get some cover.* Shadow- “You…just what are you anyway?” Goku- “It’s like I said. My name is Goku, a Super Saiyajin.”
Panel 2: *Shadow is shown with a reluctant expression* Shadow- “Hmm…given the confines of this arena and how much further I would have to push myself…I forfeit.”
Panel 3: *Both Goku and the referee have surprised expressions along with familiar faces in the audience such as Rouge and Hope* Goku- “Huh!? You’re quitting?”
Panel 4: *Shadow is then seen turning his back and walking out of the arena* Shadow- “Yeah…but if I ever meet you again outside of this tournament, you’re as good as beat.”
Panel 5: *Sonic runs in to congratulate Goku* Sonic- “Nice one, Goku! Not often I see someone that can get Shadow to back down.” Goku- “Thanks. So am I going to be facing you in the finals?”
Panel 6: *Sonic and Goku look to the entrance for participants where Emerl’s silhouette is shown.* Sonic- “Well I had to say it, but I got beat during my last fight. You be careful out there. This one could get pretty powerful if he copies your moves.”
Panel 7: *A panel is then seen shown of Eggman with a wide grin watching from some remote location”Gleen~” Eggman- “Ehehehe!~ So far everything is going according to plan! I’ll soon have all the data I need about you, Mr. Super Saiyajin!”

"Its Super Saiyajin Goku!”

Panel 1: *Emerl and Goku are at a standoff, the two of them are in a straredown similar to when Goku faced off with Cell in the Cell Games*
Panel 2: *A point of view shot is shown of Emerl’s statistics with data on techniques such as the Kaio-Ken, the after image technique, the Kamahameha, etc.* Goku- “Not bad so far. You’ve got a bunch of good techniques. I’m just glad you’re not some evil android out to kill me.”
Panel 3: *The “eye” on Emerl’s head then opens and he gives off a powerful aura”ZRRR!~”*
Panel 4: *”BI!~” Emerl then flies off the ground in a similar manner to Goku and begins flying towards the town of Station Square, all while Goku looks in shock* -Goku “Wow so strong! How did he get so powerful all of a sudden?!”
Panel 5: *”BI!~” Goku would fly up in a similar manner to give chase, only to see explosions in the distance* Goku- “Oh no! This is getting really out of hand!”
Panel 6: *Goku tenses up as a familiar aura builds up around himself “ZRRR!~”* Goku- “His energy level is constantly growing! I had better step up my own game if I’m going to win this!”
